Statement
I became involved in theater as an 8th grader, working as an actor from that year onward through High School. But it wasn't until college that I became fully emersed with technical theatre. I loved working in the Scene shop as a Carpenter and a Painter, as well as working in the Costume Shop as a Stitcher, building and creating different elements for our shows. But it wasn't until my Junior year that I discovered Props; I have never looked back.
I love the problem-solving and world-building that comes with the job: utilizing so many different sets of skills to both refine and realize the production as well as aiding the actors in their performances. This is a field that is constantly evolving, with challenges appearing with every production and new materials and methods developing across the country.
I want to meet those challenges head-on with the optimism and creativity that I am known for. I never want to stop growing as an artist.
